We have an exciting new challenge: Our brand new event is the Chestnut Sussex 100, which is a cycle ride through the Sussex Weald and Ashdown Forest.

Chestnut Sussex 100 will take to the roads of East Sussex on Sunday 12 October, starting at Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum.

We have two routes on offer – a challenging 100km route, featuring one of the UK’s top 100 climbs, ‘Kidd’s Hill’, and a flatter, friendlier, 60km route.

Highlights of this new event include start and finish chip timing, personal best potential, staggered waves start, refreshments en route and a medal at the finish line.

I will be there to cheer everyone along as the route goes very near to my house!

We are looking forward to welcoming a wide range of participants, from seasoned cyclists to first-timers alike.

So whether you are an experienced cyclist or relatively new to the pedals and looking to challenge yourself, get your spokes spinning for Chestnut Tree House – the only children’s hospice in East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire.
