‘Sing out for England’ has been written and performed by the combined efforts of musician Graham Noon and The Collector at Eversfield Studios in Lower Beeding.

It has been written in response to the news that the official England 2014 World Cup song will be one by Take That.

It will be released on June 2 with proceeds going to Cancer Research.

Mr Noon said: “We reckon it’s the official unofficial England World Cup song.

“The song is written from the point of view of an average football fan celebrating England’s involvement in the World Cup.

“The song is in direct response to the news that the official England 2014 World Cup song was going to be cover of the Take That song ‘Greatest Day’. “Surely England’s campaign in the 2014 World Cup deserved a dedicated song rather than a half-hearted re-hash of an existing song.”
