Nominations are pouring in for the West Sussex County Times Youth Awards - but we want to hear more stories about inspiring youngsters in the area.
With the nomination deadline just a few weeks away, now is the time to enter a young person living or attending school or college in the Horsham district who excels through their character or achievements.
Whether they are a dedicated volunteer, a record-breaking athlete or a true inspiration, they could be in for a chance at taking home one of our 15 prestigious Youth Awards.
Shortlisted finalists will be invited to a glitzy evening at the Capitol in June, featuring performances from local schools and colleges as well as the awards ceremony.
The County Times Youth Awards is backed by local schools and colleges.
Gary Shipton, editor-in-chief of the County Times group, said: “The young people of this district do some amazing things to make the area so special.
“That’s why we launched these awards last year - to recognise the huge contribution that so many of them make.”
The second annual awards follows last year’s inaugural event, which was a rollercoaster side packed with laughter, emotion, talent and tears.
It was a resounding success and a memorable night as the youth of Horsham were recognised. But we want this year to be even bigger and better.
You can nominate a deserving person or group for any of our 15 categories, covering a variety of successes from team sport to performing arts and entrepreneur to courage.
The suggested age range for nominations is ten to 25, but all nominations will be considered.
You can enter via a form in the newspaper or online here.
