Households in Mannings Heath will be without electricity for much of today (Tuesday November 24) due to electrical works.
A spokesperson for UK Power Networks said 29 customers are affected between 9am and 3.30pm today while engineers work at a substation in the village.
The spokesperson said: “UK Power Networks engineers are installing new equipment at a substation in Mannings Heath today to upgrade the electricity network.
“In order to complete the work in safety they needed to turn off electricity supplies to 29 customers in the Hammerpond Road area from 9am to 3.30pm.
“Affected customers have been notified in advance so they can make alternative arrangement if necessary.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused while this work is carried out.”
