Hundreds evacuated from Horsham's John Lewis and Waitrose

Fire and Rescue crews were called to the new Waitrose in Horsham after they received a call that there was a smell of smoke.

Shoppers were promptly evacuated from the building in Albion Way while crews from Horsham and Crawley tended to the scene at 11.56am.

There is no report of a fire, but a crew is currently conducting an investigation internally and externally.
