Air Canada rouge has launched daily non-stop flights from Gatwick to Toronto.
They started today (Friday May 20) and run until October 16.
The airline’s seasonal route, AC1925, will be operated by 242-seat wide-body Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
Canada’s Deputy High Commissioner to the UK and Gatwick’s Chief Commerical Officer did the honours at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the inaugural service’s departure gate.
