Need for Christmas parcels bigger than ever

THE Salvation Army will be collecting much-needed donations of toys and festive food at the bandstand in Horsham on Saturday.

Three weeks into the Caring for Christmas campaign, The Salvation Army have had more people referred to them for gift parcels this year than at this time last year and would like people to think about buying a small gift to help make their Christmas special.

They are looking for toys for children of all ages for gift parcels and ‘luxury’ food, including tins of chocolates and biscuits, Christmas pudding, mince pies for food parcels.

Any help is appreciated, so bring your donations to the Carfax bandstand between 11am and 1pm on Saturday

Any businesses who can be a drop off point for people to bring their donations to can contact Ian and Sue at the centre on 01403 254624.
