Motorcyclist taken to hospital

A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with head and wrist injuries after colliding with a car.

Paramedics were called to the incident on Tuesday (December 14) at 4:48pm on the A283 at the junction with Water Lane in Storrington.

The 43-year-old man was placed on a back board with a neck collar and taken to Worthing Hospital.

Fire crews, who were also in attendance, used sand to clear a spillage of oil and fuel from the motorbike.
