VOLUNTEERS from More Than Insurance in Horsham spent the day at Queen Elizabeth II School in the town sprucing up outside areas for the children.

Graham Nicholls, Tina Hughes, John Ellenger, Matt Pernet and Anna Parris helped out on Friday.

The school caters for children who have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties and the More Than team gave the fence at the front of the school a facelift along with some picnic benches and chairs that the children use.

The team thanked West Grinstead plant and tool hire company King & Stevens Ltd and carpenter Roger Parris for letting them borrow some of their equipment to get the job done, which made the day such a huge success.

They also thanked staff at the school for allowing them to spend the day there and making them feel welcome.
