A mobile home was destroyed by a blaze at a caravan park in Bolney yesterday (Tuesday November 18).

A large LPG gas cylinder was also involved in the fire, which broke out in the London Road site just after 3pm.

Firefighters cooled the gas cylinder using one fixed hose reel and removed it, but flames wrecked the mobile home, 20m in length.

Police closed the road to traffic and a safety cordon was put in place.

The fire was ruled accidental.
