Man charged with attempted burglary in Henfield

A man has been charged with attempted burglary and being in possession of a knife after an incident in Henfield, police have said.

Officers said they were called to a home in London Road on Tuesday (May 17).

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Nicholas De Launay, 40, unemployed, of Chess Brook Green, Wantley Hill Estate, Henfield, appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on May 18 and was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on June 15.”
