Man airlifted to hospital after accident at Rusper farm


A man was airlifted to hospital following an accident at a farm in Rusper yesterday (Sunday February 8).

Emergency services including Sussex Air Ambulance were called to farmland off East Street at around 10.50am.

The man suffered injuries to his upper arm. He was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting by aircraft.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said paramedics in two cars and an ambulance also attended the scene.
