Horsham have today signed attacking midfielder Oli Lockyer from reigning County League champions East Preston.
The young forward is the first of a number of new additions expected to bolster the Hornets in the new year for their Ryman League South Division relegation battle.
Lockyer netted two goals in 12 league appearances for the Division 1 title winners last season after joining midway through the season and has hit the target once this year.
The Sussex player will go straight into the Horsham squad for their clash with former landlords Worthing on New Year’s Day.
Horsham player-manager Gary Charman said last week he had a number of seven-day approaches in for players and will be able to start talking to possible reinforcements immediately after Christmas.
