Life in a Medieval Castle transported visitors to the time of William D’Albini, Earl of Arundel. The skilled performers of Raven Tor Living History Group re-enlivened characters from the late Norman period, showcasing the fashions and costumes of the time as well as combat techniques and crafts.
The next installment of the Life in a Medieval Castle events will take place on Sunday, September 20.
This coming bank holiday weekend features alfresco Shakespeare performances in the Collector Earl’s Garden by the GB Theatre Company with Much Ado About Nothing on Friday, August 28 and Twelfth Night on Saturday, August 29 to choose from. Tickets are available online at http://www.gbtheatrecompany.com/arundelcastle.html and will also be available from the main visitor entrance on the night.
The Castle will also play host to a ‘History in Action’ event this Saturday 29 - Monday 31 August. The three day event promises a rip-roaring ride through the history of Sussex.
