The latest plans for thousands of new homes, a business park and new schools on land north of Horsham have gone on display.
Liberty Property Trust opened a public exhibition yesterday in Horsham Park Barn, next to the Conservatory Cafe in Horsham Park, to give people the chance to view and comment on the proposals.
The company’s development team were on hand to discuss the plans and answer questions visitors had about the scheme as well as take down feedback.
Caroline Binns, associate director of marketing and leasing at Liberty, said: “We want it to be as good as we can possible make it.
“We are as keen as ever to involve the Horsham community in refining our plans.”
Liberty submitted an application to Horsham District Council in August.
It outlined the creation of up to 2,750 homes, a new 46,000 square metre business park, two primary schools, land and a financial contribution for a secondary school, community centre, open space, health facilities, allotments and infrastructure on land north of the A264.
The plans will remain on display until 4pm today with the development team still on hand to answer questions.
