What makes Sussex special? That’s the question we will be aiming to answer with our new exciting project - The Longest Day today Friday (June 21).

As part of a nationwide initiative, this newspaper along with all of our sister titles will be creating a video bringing together dozens of clips.

But we need your help.

We are asking our readers to send in short video clips from around the county today.

They can be walking through our glorious countryside or on the beach, family life, a school activity - anything that reveals what makes our county tick.

We are combining all the clips together for a snapshot of life on a special day in Sussex.

If you want to be part of our Life in a Day project and have time to send in some footage today then you can email it to [email protected]

If you have a Dropbox account or Google Drive access, then you can simply share your footage from your account to [email protected].
