Jewellery box and jewellery stolen from Horsham home

A jewellery box and jewellery were taken from a home Horsham last week.

Police said a man was seen by the home owner entering a flat in Horden House, sheltered accommodation for the elderly in Granary Way, at around 4.45pm on Wednesday January 7.

Police added they believed the man gained access to the property via the front door.

A black wooden jewellery box with a gold inlay containing several gold rings and gold coloured watches were later found to be missing.

Police carried out a search of the area but the male could not be located.

He is described as being in his mid 20s, of a medium to stocky build, 5’7 tall, wearing a blue anorak and dark trousers.
