Interfaith Forum Events

OUR NEXT meeting will be on Saturday 26th May at 1pm at The Manor Room in the Church Centre, Causeway, Horsham, RH12 1NQ.

We shall be welcoming Andrew Bishop, the Anglican Chaplain of Surrey University, who will tell us about the University Multifaith Centre.

Andrew is involved in the pastoral care of students and staff and plays an active part in promoting understanding of faith and between faiths.

Surrey’s Universities £7 million Multi-Faith Centre has been designed to meet the spiritual cultural and social needs of students and the wider community, a beautiful and inspiring new building that will bring young people together to develop the abilities for peaceful co-existence.

It will be the most ambitious of its kind in the UK, with the potential for impact far beyond the University.

Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group are holding a charity event to celebrate Refugee Week at The Hawth Theatre, Crawley, on 21st June at 7.30pm with local schools, up and coming artists and some big names (Sheila Hancock, Michael Rosen and more).


Chichester Humanists and Chichester Baptists will be discussing the similarities and differences between Humanists and Christians on 21st May from 7pm at the Chichester Inn, 38 West Street, PO19 1RP.


Crawley Interfaith Network are holding a meeting ‘Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life’ based on Karen Armstrong’s book, speaker Roger Prentice on Thursday 17th May 7-9pm at the Longley Room, The Orchard, 1-2 Gleneagles Court, Brighton Road, Crawley, RH10 6AD.


The International Association for Religious Freedom are holding a meeting entitled ‘Challenges to Civil & Religious Liberty’ on Saturday 19 May 2012 from 10:30am to 4pm at the Unitarian Church, 1 The Croydon Flyover, Croydon, CRO 1ER.
