Hunt for BMW driver after woman seriously injured in Cranleigh crash

Officers said a woman was involved in a collision with a dark coloured BMW 3 Series in High Street, Cranleigh, on Saturday evening (November 17).

The woman, in her 40’s, was rushed to hospital where, police say, she remains in a serious but stable condition.

Police said the vehicle failed to stop at the scene. A car matching its description was later found abandoned in Ewhurst.

The incident took place at about 8pm and officers are appealing for information.
