Around 1,300 homes in the Horsham area were left with water problems when a water main burst yesterday lunchtime.
Southern Water workmen carried out repairs in Langhurstwood Road, Horsham, and said supplies were restored shortly after they were called out.
A spokesman said: “Some customers in the RH5, RH11, RH12 and RH13 postcodes - around 1,300 properties in total - may have experienced low pressure or loss of water.
“We’d like to apologise for any inconvenience this caused and appreciate everyone’s patience while we fixed the water main.”
