Houses evacuated following gas tank leak in Albourne

West Sussex Fire and Rescue crews were called to a gas leak in Muddleswood Road, Albourne, near Henfield at 9.10pm last night (Sunday, June 15).

For three hours, the team from Henfield transferred the fuel from one 14,000 litre liquefied petroleum gas tank into another.

Three neighbouring houses were evacuated during the work.
