The Armed Forces Day flag will be raised at Horsham’s War Memorial in the Carfax on Monday June 24 at 10.30pm.

The flag raising will happen a few days before the national Armed Forces Day on Saturday June 29.

The ceremony in Horsham will be attended by the chairman of Horsham District Council Philip Circus (Con, Chanctonbury) along with representatives from the Horsham branch of the Royal British Legion and other service associations.

On June 29 there will be a small display of Armed Forces vehicles and the Royal British Legion Band will be playing from 12pm until 2pm that afternoon.
