HORSHAM SHOP CRASH: Shop boarded up following incident

Sussex Police said a woman sustained only minor injuries after she was trapped between a shop and a car after a crash in Horsham town centre yesterday afternoon (July 29).

A Jaguar went into the window of Cook in the Carfax at about 2.30pm.

Police, West Sussex Fire & Rescue and paramedics were on the scene to tend to the driver and female pedestrian.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “She [pedestrain] sustained minor injuries. The car was driveable so was reversed out of the shop. The windows were boarded up.”
