Emergency services were called to the Carfax at around 2.30pm after a blue Jaguar crashed into the window of the Cook store.

Police taped off an area between Cubitt and West estate agents and Cook whilst emergency services dealt with the situation.

The tape has now been removed but the front of the store still remains cordoned off.

A woman was also involved in the collision with the vehicle and became ‘pinned’ against the shop’s window.

No serious injuries have been reported and both the woman and the driver were checked over by paramedics at the scene.
