Jewellery outlet Pandora is set to move into Swan Walk shopping centre at the end of October and will be creating ten new jobs in the town as well as offering residents another place to buy their gifts leading up to the festive period.

The store, famous for its bracelets and charms, is set to move into the site which Barratts shoe shop previously occupied in the centre.

Peter A Andersen, president of Pandora in Western Europe, said: “We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new store in Horsham. As a Danish brand aimed at women of all ages, the new store embodies a Scandinavian, feminine design and acts as the perfect setting for our beautiful hand-finished jewellery.”

The opening of the store also marks the recent announcement that the town has one of the lowest retail vacancy rates in the country. According to research by global retail intelligence provider Springboard the town’s retail vacancy rate was 4.4 per cent in July a long way behind the national average of 10.1 per cent.

Centre manager Gill Buchanan said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming the new Pandora store to the centre. I know that our customers will also be delighted at the news of the new store opening, especially as it will be just in time for Christmas.”
