CROWDS packed the Carfax in Horsham today (Sunday) for the annual Remembrance Day parade and service.
Unlike Friday’s cold and grey weather for the Armistice Day service, today’s warm and sunny skies encouraged even larger numbers of people to join in.
After the parade arrived at the war memorial, the Vicar of Horsham, the Rev Canon Guy Bridgewater led the exhortation and said prayers.
Wreaths were then laid by chairman of Horsham District Council Claire Vickers and Horsham MP Francis Maude, as well as representatives from the RBL, the armed forces and emergency services.
The parade then marched to St Mary’s Church in the Causeway for a service.
