DESPITE some very heavy rain early on, Horsham’s first Festival of Sound got off to successful start today (Sunday) with crowds at all the venues across the town.
There was a packed programme, with music to suit all tastes, from jazz, blues, hard rock, indie and gentle acoustic.
Sadly, the torrential rain at the start meant the crowds were fairly small, but once the worst of the weather had passed, dozens more arrived at the venues at the Carfax, Market Square, Piries Place, Shelley Fountain, East Street, and The Forum.
The festival will continue up to October 8.
