St Catherine’s Hospice’s Midnight Walk returns to Horsham Park with a new Hollywood theme later this month.

Registration for the popular event closes on Monday (June 23), so there is still time for women and girls of all ages to sign up and enjoy some Hollywood glamour while raising money for a good cause.

This year’s walk features an earlier start time of 10.30pm.

Walkers can choose from a seven or 13 mile route and can look forward to red carpets, paparazzi and Hollywood-themed entertainment.

Louise Brown, events fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice, said: “We’re really excited about the Midnight Walk this year.

“With a brand new theme and an earlier start time, it’s going to be a fantastic, different way to support the hospice and a great excuse for us to celebrate everyone who is taking part.

“We’d like to thank our sponsors, Welland Medical and our hugely important volunteer marshals who will be along the route.”

Chris Primett, managing director at Welland Medical, said: “St Catherine’s Hospice’s work, providing medical care, counselling and welfare support for local people with a terminal illness, is incredibly important.

“The Midnight Walk is a fun, different way to support the cause, particularly with this year’s Hollywood theme.

“Welland Medical is very proud to sponsor the event to ensure that St Catherine’s can keep helping local people.”

Registration closes on Monday (June 23) and you cannot sign up on the night so get your name on the guest list to avoid disappointment.

You can register by going to www.stch.org.uk/midnightwalk or calling 01293 447364.

St Catherine’s Hospice provides vital, free end of life care for terminally ill people across Horsham, Crawley, East Surrey and Mid Sussex.

Events like the Midnight Walk play an important part in raising the £5.5million a year that St Catherine’s needs to continue to give this support.
