Two drivers from Horsham have been charged with drink-driving offences.
Police said Ciprian Tutulan, a telecommunications engineer, of Depot Road, Horsham, was arrested in Harwood Road on December 5.
The 29-year-old was charged with failing to provide a specimen, resisting arrest and failing to stop after a road traffic collision.
He is due to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on December 21.
Paul Read, unemployed, of Church Road, Horsham, was also arrested in Crawley Road, on December 6, police have said.
The 59-year-old was charged with having 54mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system, the legal limit is 35 officers added.
He is due to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on December 22.
A total of 45 drivers have been arrested in Sussex since the Operation Dragonfly campaign, the crackdown on drink and drug-drivers run jointly by Surrey and Sussex Police, was launched on Tuesday December 1.
