Horsham district residents honoured in New Year’s Honours List

Charity workers are among the Horsham residents named in the New Year’s Honours List.

Brian Doick, of Steyning, the president of the National Association for Park Home Residents, was named an MBE for services to the park home industry.

Richard Groom, of Shipley, was awarded an MBE for services to the community, particularly disabled young people.

Robert Pooley, of Steyning, was also handed an MBE, for services to business and to aviation.

Charles Denyer, of Bolney, the deputy clerk of the crown in chancery, crown office, Ministry of Justice, was named an OBE for services to constitutional and ceremonial administration.
