Horsham Rotary Club has raised hundreds of pounds to aid tsunami victims.

Club members carried out a collection in aid of the people of Indonesia that have seen their homes and livelihoods destroyed by the tsunami.

The club thanked the people of Horsham who gave so generously, resulting in a total of £643.15 on the day.

This money will be added to by the club and go to ShelterBox who are an organisation Rotary work with regularly and who are experienced specialists in emergency disaster relief work.

Horsham are just one of many hundreds of Rotary Clubs throughout the world who have raised money to help with the tsunami so those currently suffering severe hardship in Indonesia will soon find some relief through aid.
