Horsham based small business Pashley Fisher Ltd brought a seasonal smile to the faces of staff at one local charity.

West Sussex Mediation Service has benefited to the tune of £250 to help fund a project, thanks to the generosity of Clair Fisher and her Company.

Following local publicity, including social media updates via Twitter, word was put out to local charities to bid for the £250 donation. West Sussex Mediation Service, which has been serving the local community since 2000, proved to be the winning bid.

Company Director, CIair Fisher said: “I love Christmas, and I love that the success of my company means that I can take the opportunity to bless others.

“Pashley Fisher Ltd has committed to give away at least 10% of our profit to local charities working in partnership. We were new to this, so we opened it up to suggestions as to who could most benefit. Having heard about the great work being done by West Sussex Mediation Service we felt that they were a worthy winner.”

As well as receiving a financial gain, the charity will also benefit from a day of free time from the Company, which specialises in developing enthusiastic and inspirational leaders, high performing teams & effective partnerships through training, coaching and consultancy.

Nick Handley on behalf of WSMS said: “We are very grateful to Clair for choosing our project and recognising the value of our work in the community.

“This is a great example of a business giving back to the community and reaching out to small charities like us, who might otherwise fall off the radar. We rely on donations to help us maintain a free service to the community. We will put the money to good effect.”
