Dominic Di Paola is not yet pulling out all the stops to find a goalkeeper but hopes to have his new-look Horsham squad all-but finalised by the end of the week.
The new boss announced 15 new signings this week as the Hornets prepare for life in the Southern Combination League.
Those will form the base of his side and he hopes to wrap up another two deals this week - although is in no immediate rush to address the find a new stopper.
He said: “I have a couple of goalkeepers trialling at the moment and the youth keeper and I am talking to a couple of others. It just has not happened yet, but I am not massively worried about it.
“All of the time that I have done really well we have had a settled side from day one and I think that’s really important.
“We are almost there, I have a couple of others agreeing to sign this week. By the end of this week I want to be done really, we need to be done, then we can start working on strategies about everything else.
“We have strong midfield players, attacking options and lots of pace, we should be ok.”
