High accolade for Cranleigh school

This highly prestigious award was presented in front of an audience of more than 700 at the ceremony held at Park Plaza, London on Friday July 5.

St Joseph’s can add this achievement to their other accolades, including a long-standing healthy eating remit, which has earned them flagship status and a Gold Award from the Food for Life Partnership.

Judges at the awards ceremony said: “What this school has achieved in one year has been outstanding.

“It has demonstrated an innovative and ambitious approach to sport provision and healthy eating, set against clear goals for the school.”

The school emerged victorious in the Sport and Healthy Eating category, despite large competition ranging from rival schools in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
