Part of a Horsham road was left submerged in water after heavy rain battered the town yesterday (August 24).

Vehicles and pedestrians struggled to wade through flood waters along Brighton Road, near Tanyard close, which caused delays for many commuters travelling to and from the town.

Charlie McCreadie sent the County Times this picture showing the extent of the flooding.

The Met Office has warned more heavy rain may hit the town later today (August 25).
