A Horsham woman has braved the shave in order to raise vital funds to help her childhood friend battle multiple sclerosis (MS).

On Sunday, Sue Light had all her hair removed, raising more than £1,800, adding to more than £22,000 Philippa Charman has already raised towards her goal of £40,000 to fund pioneering treatment in Russia.

Philippa said: “A huge thank you also to Tom Quilter and Studio 2 for their support.

“I am still lost for words following this selfless act of friendship.”

Sue added: “I would like to ask for your help, to raise as much money as we can for a dear friend.”
