THERE are a number of interesting halls to hire to celebrate a special occasion in Horsham.
Whether it’s to watch a private screening of a film, hold a function or launch a product, there are plenty of unique spaces that are run by Horsham District Council.
The Park Barn, next to Horsham Park, on North Street in Horsham is perfect for that special occasion, workshop or meeting and has a maximum capacity of 50.
This old timbered barn has a kitchen facility and toilet provision, with an outside courtyard area (weather permitting) overlooking Horsham Park that is fully equipped with tables and chairs.

Situated opposite The Park Barn is one of HDC’s jewels in its crown, The Capitol.
This arts venue boasts an impressive 423 seat theatre, two cinema screens with a capacity of 175 and 89 respectively, a studio space, meeting room, gallery with a contracted bar and café operation.
This venue is open seven days a week and has a varied programme of live and screen entertainment.
Just off Horsham town centre in Denne Road is The Drill Hall, a multi function, large hall to accommodate launches, dances, weddings and classes, there are smaller rooms in the venue for hire and a kitchen facility is also available.
Roger Paterson, HDC cabinet member for the local economy, said: “The council is keen to encourage the hire of its three first class meeting halls in Horsham town, which are ideal for both private and commercial events, or for use by the local community.
“The wide range of sizes and flexible nature of these meeting rooms, together with their competitive rates, means that the council can offer the ideal venue for a very wide variety of different occasions.”
