Bestselling author Daisy White from Horsham is delighted to announce a new release from her US publisher Melange Books.

Daisy says: “I was originally contracted to write my Taming Tigers series, which is aimed at young adults and teens, but after the success of the first book, (Taming Tigers was featured in Amazon’s Hot New Releases), my publisher asked if I would like to contribute to an adult anthology.

“I was really honoured they liked my work, but a bit dubious at trying out another style of writing, as well as a short story, rather than a full length novel. However, a storyline suggested itself fairly quickly and I was able to draw on my country life, and horsey background, to write ‘For the Love of a Horse’ which is set in Devon.”

The story follows single mother Ali who has done everything she can to forget the past, including assuming a new identity, but when a new love is threatened by a riding accident, she is forced to face her memories.

Daisy’s submission was accepted, and the publishers chose just six authors for the final book.

The anthology, ‘Second Chance for Love’, is released by Melange’s Satin Romance imprint and out on Amazon from April 26.

Daisy says: “It is a perfect collection of stories to read on a coffee break in the Spring sunshine!”
