Four people arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed in West Green, Crawley, have been released on bail, police have said.
Emergency services were called to an address in Spencers Road at around 3am on Saturday (June 18).
Police said a 20-year-old man, who has been identified as Sam Caulfield, was found with a serious injury thought to be a stab wound.
He was rushed to hospital but died shortly afterwards, officers added.
A 24-year-old woman, a 22-year-old woman and a two 20-year-old men, all from Crawley, were arrested on suspicion of murder.
They have been bailed until August 9 whilst enquiries continue.
Detective Chief Inspector Tanya Jones said: “This remains an ongoing investigation and has understandably come as a shock to the community.
“We continue to have a police presence in Spencers Road with officers available to speak with local residents about any concerns.
“We are still appealing for witnesses and would urge anyone who saw or heard anything in the early hours of Saturday morning, no matter how insignificant you may think it was, to get in touch.”
