A fire crew rushed to Horsham town centre following a triggered fire alarm.

One fire engine attended Bishops Weald House in Albion Way after a report of a fire alarm being triggered earlier this morning.

A spokesman for the fire service said: “We were called at 8.33am to a building in Albion Way, Horsham following a report of an alarm being triggered.

“[There was] one engine sent to the scene.”

The crew investigated the building and found that there was no fire.

The spokesman added: “It was confirmed an alarm had been activated, however a search was carried out and it was established there was no incident. We left at 8.58am.”
