Fire in Horsham woods started deliberately

Firefighters were called to an alight tree in woods in Horsham this morning (Wednesday April 20).

The blaze, in woodland off Rusper Road, was started deliberately, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said.

The crew from Horsham was called to the incident at about 7.30am.

The flames were extinguished shortly after using a hose reel.
