Fire crews called to kitchen fire in Storrington

Fire crews were called to a kitchen fire in Storrington.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to a house in New Town Road at 4.37pm on Thursday (October 1).

A spokesman said ten per cent of the ground floor kitchen was damaged by fire and the rest by smoke.

Firefighters in breathing gear used two hoses to put out the accidental fire.

The Storrington and Worthing crews left at 5.06pm.
