A Faygate public relations firm is celebrating three gold awards at a prestigious industry awards ceremony last Wednesday (December 4).

Wildwood PR scooped three gold and one silver awards at the 2013 Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Pride Awards for the Home Counties South Region at a black-tie dinner in Brighton.

Wins included the top prize for ‘Best Event’ and an individual award for account manager Ruth Chrisp who was named as the ‘Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year’.

Tanya Houston, owner and managing director of Wildwood PR, said: “We are thrilled to have won so many prestigious prizes at this year’s CIPR Home Counties South Pride Awards.

“It is hugely rewarding for our team to be recognised by our peers in the PR industry for the work we do.

“We are particularly proud of our account manager Ruth Chrisp for her ‘Outstanding Young Communicator’ award, which is testament to her achievements this year.

“Ruth’s success follows on from last year – where our senior account manager, Shereen Russell also won this accolade – so it really is a great compliment that our team is recognised for their passion and hard-work.”

• Best Technology Campaign - Gold for their campaign ‘Bringing Smarthome Technology to Life’

• Best Event - Gold for their event ‘Celebrating British Design BIID Conference 2012’. Wildwood were also a finalist in this category for their event ‘One Beam of Light’
