Houses in Horsham are without power this morning (March 26) after a fallen tree brought down power lines in the area.

Engineers have turned off power in the area while they repair the damaged line.

Properties in Old Holbrook and other houses in the RH12 postcode are being affected by the power cut.

A spokesman for UK Power Networks told residents, “Our engineers have advised that a tree has fell down onto an overhead line. The tree will need to be removed and the line will need to be repaired and re-erected in order to restore your power.

“Due to this we’re now estimating to have you on by 1.30pm. We’re sorry to change the time but we’ll keep you updated with news from site.”
