Pop Up Horsham, situated in Swan Walk Shopping Centre has now been running for six months, helping over 40 small businesses achieve their dream of showcasing their products on the high street.
Co-Director, and Pop Up Shop Consultant, Daisy White believes the combination of shop floor retail experience, coupled with one-to-one personal mentoring provides a strong platform.
She said: “The reality of running a shop, dealing with staffing, visual merchandising, finances and stock levels can be daunting. We provide an affordable ‘safe’ environment in which to learn and experiment.”
Customers approve of the monthly rotation of retailers too!
Pop Up Horsham Co-Director and founder of The Aviation Historian, Mick Oakey, reports a rise in footfall in the shop, as customers return each month to check out the new products, pick up free samples, and chat to the fledgling retailers.
Mick said: “It is so important for a town centre to have somewhere like Pop Up Horsham, especially as business rates remain high, and many start up retailers are forced to keep working a part time, or even full time job whilst they grow their start up.”
With generous support and advice from Swan Walk Shopping Centre, Horsham & District Council, and National business start up organisation Enterprise Nation, Pop Up Horsham is delighted to introduce February’s retailers.
