Essential supplies for refugee camps

A Horsham campaign group is hosting a collection and sorting day for essentials to be sent out to Syrian refugees in camps across the Middle East.

Organiser Tara Godding said: “We’ve been hugely successful drumming up support via local Facebook pages and amongst family and friends.

“On Saturday November 26, St Leonard’s Church have kindly donated their hall in order for us to hold a mass collection and sorting day of people’s kind donations. The response via Facebook has been overwhelming!

“We are hoping to see hundreds of people coming through the doors to donate much needed aid. Many have also volunteered to help sort it too.”
