Funds for cycle routes

A Government announcement about a £62 million investment in cycling in England has been welcomed by the South Downs National Park (SDNP).

It includes a fund of £12 million that will be made available to local authorities working in partnership with National Parks.

Trevor Beattie, SDNPA chief executive said: “We are very excited about the opportunity this fund presents to create with new and safer routes.”
