A PICNIC and a play marked the end of school for the pupils at Shelley Primary school in Broadbridge Heath.
Pupils aged between four and 11 participated in the end of the summer term festivities which began with a traditional sports day that consisted of individual as well as team-based competitions.
This was followed by a picnic enjoyed by teachers, parents and pupils alike.
Year five and six pupils then performed a vivid and imaginative interpretation of Wind in the Willows. Toad, Ratty, Mole and Badger were given particular praise.
