STUDENTS at Burgess Hill School for Girls have again achieved pleasing GCSE results.
The overall pass rate was 100 per cent with over 97 per cent at the key A* to C grades.
All students achieved the key government measure of at least five A* to C grades including mathematics and English.
Over a quarter of the year group achieved A* and A grades in all their subjects.
Headmistress Ann Aughwane said: “With the current emphasis on core subjects the girls can be particularly proud that 98.5 per cent of all English language and literature results, 92.4 per cent of all IGCSE science results and 91.7 per cent of all mathematics and statistics results were graded A* to B.
“I am delighted to see the girls gain the results they deserve; there is no doubt that they are well placed to continue their studies and we look forward to seeing many of them back for the Sixth Form in September.”
