Desperate dog owners turn to psychics and offer reward to help find their missing pets

A reward of £1,000 has also been offered for the safe return of dogs Sidney and Lettice who disappeared from Rackham Woods on Sunday February 3.

“It’s like losing your left leg or even worse,” explained owner Andreas Antoniou. “We’ve started making posters, fliers, going door to door and have even got to the stage of using psychics as well now.”

Andreas’ 17-year-old son was walking the dogs, which are mother and son, when they went out of sight and failed to return.

“It was about 3pm when my son phoned me and said they had been gone 10 or 15 minutes and that he didn’t think they were coming back,” recalled Andreas.

The family stayed out until around 9pm that day and spent the immediate days after scouring the woods, checking rabbit holes and bringing in sniffer dogs but have had no luck tracing the dogs.

“We have also contacted West Sussex County Council, the RSPCA, the police, dog wardens, local vets, local dog rescue centres, they’re all over Facebook and a dog lost site,” continued Andreas.

“Two psychics have told us that both dogs are still alive and that someone has them and we just want to find them.”

The dogs are described as red and white, neutered but are not micro chipped.

Lettice was wearing a red and gold collar, small and is on medication for a back injury.

Sidney was wearing a Kenyan beaded collar with the name ‘Sid’ in the beadwork and may be nervous if found without mum Lettice.

Andreas’ fiancee Charlotte Desjarlais told of her desperation to find the animals.

She said: “We want to appeal to the public to cut out and place the article in the front room windows of their house.

“The aim is to raise public awareness and to make our babies too hot to handle as life is unbearable without them.”
